Start the Server Manager and click on ‘Add roles and features’.
Click on ‘Next’ in the opened dialog box.
In the next step choose the first option and click on ‘Next’.
Now choose the correct server. Usually there will be just one to be available Click on ‘Next’.
Choose than ‘Webserver (IIS)’ from the list and click on ‘Add Features’ in the dialogue box for confirmation.
The role will than be marked. Click on ‘Next’.
Just click on ‘Next’ in the section ‘Features’.
Click on ‘Next’ in the section ‘Web Server Role (IIS)’ as well.
In the sector ‘Role Services’ choose ‘Application development’ and ‘.NET-Extensibility 4.x’.
Then choose ‘ASP.NET 4.x’ and click on ‘Add Features’ in the dialogue box for confirmation.
Than click on ‘Next’.
At least click on ‘Install’ to start the installation process.
After the installation has been completed click on ‘Close’ to close the assistant.
Test whether the configuration was successful by entering the following address in a browser on the server:
http://localhost
